Flooding Hits Impoverished Gaza Strip, West Bank

Residents of the impoverished Gaza Strip and West Bank were hit by fresh flooding on Saturday (November 1), as heavy rains continued to fall across the region. Streets in Khan Younis had already been swamped with water on Friday. Fifty days of war in one of the most densely populated parts of the world has left swathes of Gaza in ruins. The Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing has stated that Gaza needs 5,000 caravans or mobile homes for more than 130,000 displaced Gazans.
